WPIP/MIP V will improve drinking water and sanitation services of approx. 30% of Albania’s total population or 50% of total urban population and of around 19,100 Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), while supporting environmental protection.

6 regional UKRs serving 26 municipalities will be provided new and rehabilitated water and waste water infrastructure through an investment of about 126.5 Mio EUR. :

• UKR Berat including Dimal, Kuçovë, Polican and Skrapar;
• UKR Elbasan including Belsh, Cërrik, Gramsh, Librazhd and Peqin;
• UKR Fier including Mallakastër, Patos and Roskovec;
• UKR Lezhë including Kurbin and Mirditë;
• UKR Shkodër including Fushë Arrëz, Malësia e Madhe, Pukë and Vau i Dejës;
• UKR Vlorë including Himarë and Selenicë;
