Storm water system
Complete redesign of the stormwater network in order to capture a maximum of the outer/rural areas on the hillside and to avoid discharge to low-lying areas in the city-centre
Separation of wastewater from storm water in the network;
For Disaster Risk Reduction: new box culverts, sediment traps, construction and rehabilitation of stormwater pumping stations.
Waste Water System
Upgrading and modernisation of Wastewater Treatment Plant through the following detailed measures protection of environment:
Rebuilding of mechanical treatment unit
New inlet pumping station
New fine screen building
New Venturi Parshall flume for flow measurement.
New aerated grit and grease chambers with blowers
New biofilter for odor removal
New phosphorus removal plant.
