The National Agency for Water Supply and Sewerage (AKUK) is under the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy (MIE). The Programme Coordination Unit (PCU) within AKUK is in charge of the implementation of WPIP/MIP V. AKUK is the Employer of the different Implementation Consultants and of the Institutional Consultant.
WPIP/MIP V will improve drinking water and sanitation services of approx. 30% of Albania’s total population or 50% of total urban population and of around 19,100 Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), while supporting environmental protection.
